Many children in the child protection system are not consulted about matters affecting their lives. Choices are made for them, often without their consent.

At CPK, we believe in empowering children and enabling them to have a say in important decisions that affect their lives.

Our advocacy service supports children and young people, helping them:

• have their voices heard

• express their views in the decision-making process

• understand their rights

• make a complaint

CPK advocates are instructed by the child or young person. Advocates express the voice the child or young person's views, not ours.
