Social Workers who work for us at CPK must comply with the following:

• Be fully insured with Public Liability cover and Professional Indemnity 

• Have a current, enhanced DBS clearance 

• Provide references

• Be registered as a social worker with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

• Sign up to our code of Good Working Practice in Social Work

• To operate at all times within the professional ethics and discipline of social work as described by the British Association of Social Workers (BASW) and HCPC

• Consider the ethnic, cultural, religious, gender and linguistic background of the child and family

• Practice according to our anti-discriminatory principles.
